JOSEPH DELAPPE (Reno, Usa)
Visual artist and Associate Professor Joseph DeLappe is a native of San Francisco, California, born in the year 1963. DeLappe has been engaging the computer in visual arts practice since the early 1980s. His works in mixed media, digital photography, sculpture and interactive installation have been shown throughout the United States and internationally. DeLappe joined University of Nevada, Reno as the head of the Art Department's New Genres area in 1993.
ULRIKE GABRIEL (Berlin)
Ulrike Gabriel is a media artist and head of codelab-berlin, an artistic research spot for generative systems. Since the late 80ies she works with electronic media, especially on systems, for which the development of generative software, electronic interfaces, and multimedia networks is essential. She has been made projects at Canon Artlab (Tokio), V2-Lab (Rotterdam), Institut für Neue Medien (Frankfurt), ICC Museum (Tokio), Podewil (Berlin) and had various exhibitions all over the world.
OLIA LIALINA (Stuttgart)
The Moscow born net artist currently works as a professor at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart. She calls herself the grandmother of net art. She not only accomplished numerous website projects, but also worked as curator and film director.
JOHANNES MILLA (Stuttgart)
Johannes Milla, born in 1961; 1979-1981 community service in a children's home; 1981-1984 study of dramatics, phsycholinguistic and turkology in Munich. Starting as a freelancer at theaters, fashion shows and product shows between 1984 and 1988, he experienced the applied side of creation: Since 1989 he is the head and copartner of Milla & Partner. Together with his partner Peter Redlin and 35 employees, Johannes Milla designs multi media rooms, media architecture, events, scenographies for brands, companies and public authorities: three and four dimensional communication. During the summer semester 2001, he was appointed guest professor for scenography at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe. At Milla & Partner, Johannes Milla is manager, art director and key account consultant.
