Is it philosophy, accident or chance!? The paths of 3 people cross. A funny situation. The viewer learns what the characters don’t know yet: what begins so lapidary is the start of a life together.ICH BIN TRAURIG
I AM SAD
AUSTRIA 2004, 5:00 MIN., COLOR, BETA, GERMAN WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES DIRECTED BY DIDI BRUCKMAYR, MICHAEL STROHMANN SOUND EDITING FUCKHEAD
The video “I am sad“ is part of a series of works on “digital translations of reality“ (D. Bruckmayr). Fuckhead - one of the band projects of cultural workers Bruckmayr/Strohmann - is one of these translation projects. The masculinitycharged raging of brachial heavy metal music runs - analogue to the technical processes of sound mixing - through the filter of another cultural form of expression: the opera and its melodramatic employment of voices, as well as the distant, cool, electronic creation of sound. The result is a bastard, a science-fiction being whose existence grows increasingly precarious.BERLIN 1986 - IN THE TEMPLE OF LOVE

Removed from the realm of hidden precursor to the “real“ program, or mysterious ghost haunting late night TV, the ubiquitous Bars and Tone test signals are given free rein to show off as variations of light, color, shape, and rhythm, as well as sound at varying pitches and levels. What else is a film?DOES THAT HURT YOU?
GERMANY 2003, 27:00 MIN., MINI DV, ENGLISH WITH GERMAN SUBTITLES WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY AGNIESZKA JUREK CAMERA AGNIESZKA JUREK, CARSTEN ASCHMANN, ERIC BASSETT ANIMATION DAVID LYNCH, AGNIESZKA JUREK EDITING, SOUND EDITING CARSTEN ASCHMANN MUSIC SIGTRYGGUR SIGMARSSON, STILLUPPSTEYPA ACTORS DAVID LYNCH, AGNIESZKA JUREK, CORA JUREK ALS DRAWLLY PRODUCED BY HULA-OFFLINE, HANNOVER
Los Angeles: a camera-eye is aimed at David Lynch‘s back while in Hannover a second one records the internet-stream, which connects the continents. A third one shoots parallely Agnieszka Jurek. She is interviewing Mr. Lynch: question, next question, no query raised until she finally runs out of questions. In the meantime a childish personality called “Drawlly“ crept in secretly, interfers, anticipates the story. Maybe it is the alter-ego of the interviewer... but she could be as well a comic character, cut out of “Dumbland“, the topical flash animation that Lynch presents at www.davidlynch.com.
