STUTTGARTER VOLKSBANK PRESENTS „Framedrucker“
The “Framedrucker“ (frame printer) is a machine, that allows the deconstruction of video through purchase of individual frames: while a video (specifically produced for this purpose) is projected upon a wall in a loop, the viewer can buy individual frames of the video. After dropping a coin the video can be stopped by pushing a button. The image on the screen can be printed and is erased off the video afterwards. The video dissolves, it gets shorter and shorter (the remaining frames are “shoved together“) - completely falls apart - until it doesn't exist anymore in its original medium.15.01.2005 4PM AKADEMIE SCHLOSS SOLITUDE
